Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior HSE Coordinator to join our dynamic team! This role offers hands-on experience in safety practices within the exciting field of marine and industrial construction. ️

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining safety records and monitoring compliance.
• Review safety documentation and provide feedback.
• Support safety planning and deliver worker orientations.
• Participate in safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years or educational background in health and safety, ideally in construction or a related field.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech Savvy: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in remote locations and on rotation shifts.
• Certification: Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Preferred: CSO, NCSO, or RCSO certification.
