Junior High Generalist Teacher

Glenmary School, located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Probationary, Junior High Generalist Teacherfor the 2026-2027 school year starting August 27, 2026, up to and including June 29, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

Course assignments will include Physical Education, as well as Humanities or Math and Science courses in Junior high (Grades 7-9) appropriate to the candidate's skill set within the school environment.

The successful candidate ideally will have a knowledge and understanding of inclusive education, First Nation Metis and Inuit students, English as a second language, programming, and skills to support students who require individualized programs, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning.

The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate, communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Catholic and non-Catholic applicants are welcome to apply.
