Job summary

Stingray in Montreal is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Business division, reporting to the Assistant Controller. You will participate in month-end close, reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare monthly financial statements and support audit activities.

The role requires at least 2 years in accounting, strong Excel and Netsuite knowledge, and bilingual French-English. We value proactive, autonomous team players in a dynamic, collaborative environment with hybrid work and an on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Autonomous, proactive and team oriented with strong communication skills.
• Perfectly bilingual (French and English).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end process including entries and reconciliations.

• Prepare files for annual audit and support auditors' requests.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Financial Analyst will be participating in the general accounting of the Business division.

• Participate in the month-end process; including and not limited to the preparation of month end entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and internal control compliance
• Prepare the monthly financial statement and assist with the monthly variance analysis (vs budget and vs forecast)
• Prepare working files for the annual audit and compile other information and analysis as required by the auditors
• Assist in the preparation of various analyses required by senior management
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting;
• Ability to perform in a fast changing environment;
• Leadership and proactivity;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);
• Excellent Knowledge of Netsuite, an asset;
• Autonomous, who takes initiative; Team player and excellent communication abilities;
• Perfectly bilingual (French and English);
