Job summary

RLG International in Vancouver, BC is seeking an early-career Business Analyst to join our finance team. You will own day-to-day financial and pricing models, produce executive-quality materials, and work directly with senior partners to keep the sales pipeline accurate and up to date.

This full-time, in-person role offers broad exposure to corporate finance, strategy, and business development from day one, with mentorship from the CFO and senior leadership across forecasting, analytics, and BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience; new graduates encouraged.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and multi-tab workbooks.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM is an asset.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Power Query, or DAX is an asset.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT is an asset.
• Interest in energy, mining, capital projects, or management consulting is an asset.
• Co-op, internship, or work experience in FP&A, consulting, banking, or corporate finance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and quality-check pricing models, cost models, and forecasts in Excel.
• Build and refine executive PowerPoint decks to brand standard.
• Partner with senior consultants and Managing Partners to keep CRM entries complete and accurate; run pipeline hygiene reviews.
• Assist the CFO with monthly forecast cycles, variance analysis, and reporting packs.
• Support BI reporting in Power BI, data refreshes, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.
• Take on research, data pulls, and one-off analytical requests from the CFO and leadership.
