Job description

Corpay is currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst for our PayByPhone division, within our FP&A team, located in Vancouver, B.C.

This role involves maintaining and producing FP&A reporting databases, creating product management reports, and supporting the team with ad hoc data analysis, manipulation, and model building. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A and collaborate with various teams across the business.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in calculating revenue and expense projections.
• Document and communicate key risks and opportunities to the FP&A team.
• Review variances to budget/forecast and highlight key items.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare timely financial reports and analyses, explaining findings.
• Identify and communicate variances across locations and departments.
• Ensure reports reconcile before distribution.
• Work with management to develop solutions for business issues.
• Support decision-making through financial modeling.

Accounting & Data Management

• Collaborate with accounting to streamline month-end processes.
• Maintain and enhance the FP&A reporting database, including adding metrics.
• Use PowerQuery to combine data sources and build models, reports, and dashboards.

Additional Tasks

• Prepare procedural documentation for management reports.
• Develop understanding of the business model and strategic goals.
• Support CFO, FP&A Director, and accounting team as needed.
