Job summary

Groupe Dynamite Inc., a Montréal-based fashion retailer, is seeking a Junior Designer to support design development for lifestyle and Brand, staying on top of trends to expand style options.

You will contribute to the ongoing transformation from traditional retail to omni-channel, with responsibilities including creating styles for COE/collections, developing 3D samples, maintaining development calendars, and collaborating with suppliers in French or English.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma, DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in technical sketches.
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated.
• Good Microsoft office skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Sound judgement and a good understanding of trends and the garment industry.
• Available to travel (if necessary).
• French or English is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities
