Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a student to support environmental projects across multiple disciplines, including air quality, acoustics, and site assessments. You will engage in fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting to assist with environmental studies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to travel to project sites as required. A Canadian driver’s license is preferred and relevant coursework is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related discipline.
• Strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment and remediation, air quality, and acoustics.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites as required.
• Currently holds a Valid Canadian driver's license.
• Note: Mechanical Engineering background may be suited for Air Quality/Acoustics team.

Your role

Skills

While working in the Environment Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

• Acoustics, air quality, vibrations and climate change: Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis including assisting with acoustics and noise assessments
• Assessment and remediation of contaminated sites: Support environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations, environmental sampling, monitoring programs and technical reporting
• Environmental assessments and community involvement: Contribute to environmental compliance, preparing mitigation plans and assessment for a a variety of projects.
• Hydrology: Support hydrology and water resource projects through fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.

About You

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related discipline

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
