Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Cambridge, ON, is seeking a Junior Technician for our on-site team to operate and calibrate test systems, perform testing, and collaborate on test setups and improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in engineering/technology with 2 years of electronic testing experience, strong problem-solving and documentation skills, and proficiency with Office 365. Compensation is CAD 45,000–50,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Technology, etc.).
• 2 years of experience in an electronic testing role.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is an asset.
• Strong computer skills (Office 365).
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an asset.
• Follow procedures (SOP's, Maps, Drawings, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment.
• Understanding of RF Theory by supporting system design reviews, laboratory testing and product validation.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a qualified Junior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic testing and be able to operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support test setup upgrades and modifications.
