OZZ Electric Inc. is seeking a Jr. Estimator to help prepare accurate electrical estimates by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and proposals.

You will analyze drawings, perform take-offs, and assist with material and labor budgeting to support profitable bids. The role requires 2 years in electrical contracting with take-off experience or a licensed electrician with take-off expertise or completion of an estimating program, and proficiency with MS Outlook/Word/Excel.

• Two years’ experience in electrical contracting with take-offs.

• Completion of Estimating program or equivalent construction experience.

Mansioni

• Receives drawings from contractor for bidding.

• Sends faxes to suppliers requesting quotation for materials.

• Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

The Jr. Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to aid in the preparation of accurate, profitable electrical estimating, budgeting time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the duties listed below.

Skills and Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in the electrical contracting industry involving take offs, OR
• Licensed electrician with take-off experience, OR
• Successful completion of Estimating program at recognized post-secondary institution and a minimum of 1 year of construction site experience, OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
