Job summary

Introba in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Junior Electrical Designer to contribute to the detailed design and production of electrical building systems, including lighting, LV, life safety, and controls for diverse building types.

You will support 2D drawings and 3D building models, coordinate with the design team, equipment suppliers, and constructors to assemble complete design packages for client submission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years AutoCAD experience with LV, Life Safety, control and lighting systems.
• Able to read Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical drawings with supervision of Senior staff.
• Knowledge of electrical building services engineering codes preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Set up AutoCAD drawing files including digitizing and cleaning up working drawings.
• Develop LV, Life Safety, control and lighting schematic designs under supervision.
• Ensure adherence to Introba AutoCAD standards and design checklists.
• Maintain and organize AutoCAD files; perform detailed checks before handing off to designers.
