Planitar, Inc. is seeking a curious IT co-op student to join our on-site IT team. This hands-on placement focuses on hardware, imaging laptops, onboarding setups, and providing first-line support to keep devices ready for the team.
You'll start with guided tickets and progressively handle more independently, working five days a week in a vibrant tech environment backed by REA Group. This role offers practical experience in modern IT operations.
At Planitar, we build technology that helps people see and understand the world's spaces more clearly.
We are the creators of iGUIDE, a powerful property technology solution that combines immersive 3D tours, accurate floor plans and reliable spatial data into a single, easy-to-use system. Our cameras and software platform are used by professionals in real estate, insurance, construction and property management to simplify their work and deliver better results.
Planitar recently joined REA Group, one of the world's leading digital property companies. REA operates Australia's largest residential and commercial property platforms, including realestate.com.au and has a growing global footprint across Asia and North America. Together, we are shaping the future of property technology, combining Planitar's deep spatial data expertise with REA's global scale and innovation engine.
A connected future where reliable spatial data enables informed decisions across the property lifecycle.
Weare looking for a curious, service-oriented co-op student to join our IT team. This is a hands-on placement for a student currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Computer Science or related program who wants real experience in a growing tech company.
Our team runs on its equipment. When a laptop fails or an account is not ready on someone's first morning, work stops. You will help keep that from happening. You will start alongside our IT team and take on straightforward tickets in your first weeks, then take on more independently as the term progresses: workstation builds, onboarding setups, hardware troubleshooting and the documentation that makes it repeatable.
This is on-site five days per week. The work is hands-on with physical equipment, and being here is also how you will learn the most from the team around you.
Planitar is committed to a diverse, equitable, inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all backgrounds. This is a back fill position. We provide accommodation under AODA at any hiring stage upon request.
In line with Ontario law, we use AI only to summarize interview notes, never to screen, assess, or decide on candidates - all decisions are made by our team. Please note this is a new position.
