Our well-established client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a progressive, career-focused Junior Cost Accountant who is actively pursuing their CPA and eager to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience, passionate about accounting, and excited to develop skills in finance and cost/operational accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close processes
• Analyze production costs, overhead, and operational efficiencies
• Maintain accurate financial records, including cost data and expense tracking
• Assist in evaluating production, inventory, and overhead expenses alongside senior cost accountants
• Compile and generate weekly and monthly reports
• Document and update cost accounting procedures to ensure compliance
• Support inventory tracking and management for accurate cost assessments
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Actively pursuing CPA is mandatory
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong desire to learn and grow
