Placements24 is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer Apprentice for a fully remote internship, enabling you to work with modern cloud technologies. Based conceptually in Kimberley but accessible from anywhere in South Africa, the program provides mentorship, hands-on cloud infrastructure work, and opportunities to obtain certifications.

You will deploy and manage resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP, learn IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while developing remote

Qualifications

• Strong foundational interest in cloud computing and IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills suited for remote collaboration.
