We’re growing!! And looking for passionate, driven, and energetic candidates to join our team for the position of Junior Business Analyst located at our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

Job Description
As a Junior Business Analyst for Skyline, you will act as the interface between Skyline and its group of companies. You will support Skyline users with day-to-day troubleshooting activities, assist with documenting software requirements for technology initiatives, and analyze internal client requests for troubleshooting. You will also enforce database standards while maintaining a focus on creating meaningful value and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers, our people, and our communities.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze, identify, and validate key business requirements.
• Assess current processes and help define future processes using best practices.
• Maintain performance, security, and integrity of all applications and databases.
• Work with users to develop, model, and design various programs after approval.
• Extract data, compile reports, and develop customized reporting as required by users and management. Ensure appropriate approvals and access for new projects or requests. Defer to business owners for customization requests and major changes.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Identify process improvements for software performance, reliability, and stability.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues in a timely manner.
• Develop training materials as needed and assist in training users.
• Conduct standalone and integrated testing of programs and software applications to ensure they produce the desired results and instructions are correct.
• Improve the effectiveness of database tools and services.

What we look for:

• Mid-level knowledge of mainstream software (e.g., MS Office, Windows, Apple products) and related setup and management.
• Experience with the software development life cycle.
• Skills in internet-related applications and web browsers, including cloud and SaaS.
• SQL programming experience and ability to create SQL reports.
• Knowledge of YARDI database and related applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of network concepts.
• Strong project management skills, including risk management, and the ability to keep projects on track.
