The Business Systems Analyst I will be responsible for supporting all hardware and software issues. Provide escalated technical software and hardware problem resolution to all computer users by performing diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Assist with various computer issues, from minor glitches to major problems like viruses and system crashes. Provide one-on-one end-user training as needed. Offer resolutions for relatively complex issues, including thorough follow-up and customer education on system capabilities, and perform other related work as assigned.

Functions

• Learn and support all company-specific software solutions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and develop technical solutions for hardware and software issues.
• Act as a technical resource to assist users with all Kenco systems.
• Resolve escalated issues related to OS updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems related to software, hardware, internet, etc., and communicate solutions to users.
• Maintain records of transactions, problems, actions, and installations within the ticketing database.
• Escalate urgent problems requiring deeper expertise to appropriate resources.
• Read manuals, confer with users, and conduct diagnostics to resolve problems and provide support.
• Create workaround procedures when standard methods fail and ensure timely resolution.
• Document procedures and solutions for help desk issues.
• Answer technical and non-technical questions from users.
• Make recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist with reporting solutions, providing analytical queries and tools for management.
• Support site intranet.
• Perform basic computer and RF repairs and workstation integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Technical experience with Warehouse Management or Order Management systems.
• Experience with shipping software like TMS, Parcel, or carrier applications preferred.

Beginning to moderate SQL skills; experience with DB2 SQL or MySQL preferred.

Experience with File Transfer Protocol and API communication methods is preferred.

Beginning XML skills are helpful but not required.

Experience with PHP and HTML is helpful but not required.
