SIXT Rent A Car Inc. is seeking a Junior Branch Manager for the Calgary Downtown branch. You will lead a team, coach staff, and drive customer service excellence while contributing to profitability.

Base salary is $55,000 with an annual bonus incentive capped at $30,000, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, developing hires, and meeting sales and customer service targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in sales and customer service.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and motivate staff.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Age 21+ with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to meet daily responsibilities and performance standards.
• Train and support development of new hires with necessary tools and information.
• Foster teamwork through goal setting, motivation and follow-up to improve performance.
• Exceed department objectives including conversion targets and lead generation.
• Create ownership within the team, resolve issues, communicate company values and schedule adherence.
• Document reports on performance and targets and perform other duties.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You lead the team to ensure that daily responsibilities and assigned tasks are complete and maintained at performance standard levels
• You train and support the ongoing development of new hires, assuring the necessary tools and information are in place to incubate success
• You exert strong team building skills through goal setting, motivation, and follow-up to reach those goals, while improving the team and facilitating communication among its members
• You exceed and meet departmental objectives, including conversion targets and lead generation, and strive continually for new ways to increase sales opportunities
• You create a sense of ownership within the team, resolve employee issues, communicate the company's purpose, core values, and vision, and ensure that employees follow their schedules as designed
• You document general reports on each team member's performance and targets, ensuring that they exceed expectations, and perform other job-related duties as assigned

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience and EducationYou have a minimum of 1–2 years of work experience in sales and customer service, along with strong knowledge of customer care techniques and processes
• Supervisory and Communication SkillsYou possess good supervisory and strong communication skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and interact with others; the ability to communicate in other languages is a plus
• Organization and Customer ServiceYou have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, and the ability to manage stressful or unusual situations to maintain good customer service
• Licence & AuthorizationYoumust be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Age and LicenseYou are at least 21 years old, must hold a valid Provincial driver's licence with a clean driving record, and available for day, evening and weekend shifts; Limited travel within Canada and United States is required
