Junior Architectural Technologist

We are a fast-paced urban residential design/build firm looking for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join our energetic and growing team. This role is for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and be involved in every aspect of residential design and construction.

What You’ll Do:

• Drafting, drafting, and more drafting (with the opportunity for some design) – Create and refine detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, exterior elevations, and interior details.
• Permitting & Submissions – Prepare and submit Development and Building Permit applications.
• Technical Support – Assist with working construction drawings and support the design team in project execution.
• Documentation & Admin Tasks – Maintain accurate project records and handle junior-level administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience or education in Residential Architectural Technology.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and—though a long shot—Chief Architect).
• Knowledge of City Bylaws and the National Building Code (this will be a significant part of the role).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn.
• This is a full-time, long-term position.
