Job Purpose:

As a Junior App Developer, you will play a vital role in architecting, developing, and optimizing sophisticated applications. This role requires a passion for learning, technical acumen, and problem-solving skills to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-centric solutions.

Essential Functions:

1. Application Development:
   • Participate in the development and deployment of high-end applications.
   • Collaborate closely with the team to address complex requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Database Design & Integration:
   • Create and manage database schemas, ensuring seamless integration with applications.
   • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval methods.
   • Collaborate with database administrators to ensure high performance and availability of databases.
3. Code Optimization & Maintenance:
   • Review, refactor, and optimize code regularly to ensure performance and maintainability.
   • Implement advanced coding techniques and patterns for complex business requirements.
   • Oversee and create unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
   • Diagnose and troubleshoot application defects and SQL issues.
   • Engage with project managers, designers, and senior developers to meet project milestones.
   • Stay updated with the latest technological trends and incorporate new methodologies.
   • Support initiatives to enhance application performance and user experience.
4. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
   • Create and maintain documentation on application architecture, database schemas, and usage guidelines.
   • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops.

Qualifications:

• Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Strong foundation in web programming (backend and front end) using various languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency with libraries, patterns, and best practices.
• A passion for learning new technologies and processes.
