About The Opportunity

The IMIT/OPOR Junior Analyst supports IT application services across NSH, working closely with analysts and reporting to an IMIT/OPOR Manager. Responsibilities include supporting operations and projects, conducting investigations, providing advisory services, and collaborating with stakeholders, technical experts, and vendors. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.

  • Document workflows
  • Implement configuration changes
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Create documentation
  • Provide end-user training and support
About You

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, IT, or health informatics, or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Teamwork and independence
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good attendance record
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the province
  • Experience with clinical application systems (asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and learn new skills
  • Comfort with high-change environments and ambiguity

Hours
  • Full-time, short-assignment; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately 10 months (subject to change)
Compensation and Benefits

$27.46 - $34.32 hourly. Benefits include health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
