Job summary
Dillon Consulting Limited seeks a Junior Environmental Engineer/Scientist (Air/Noise) to join the Atmospheric Services team in Ontario. The role supports air dispersion modelling, acoustics and environmental assessments across federal, provincial, and municipal projects.
Hybrid work options and travel to Dillon offices are available. The position requires a degree in environmental engineering or related field, 0–3 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Degree in environmental engineering or related environmental science/engineering discipline
- 0–3 years of experience; environmental consulting is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to conduct field work
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of provincial/federal environmental legislation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support air dispersion modelling and ESDM reports
- Assist acoustics, noise and vibration modelling and assessments
- Contribute to environmental impact assessments and regulatory reporting
- Develop environmental scopes of work and proposals
- Coordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Compile and analyze data; support reports, data tables and GIS/CAD outputs
- Assist report writing and preparation of technical memos and figures
- Travel to other Dillon offices to collaborate and share knowledge
- Remote work possible when required
