Job summary

The Corner Office CFO in Regina, Saskatchewan is hiring a Junior Accountant to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and client engagements. The role offers exposure to a variety of clients and opportunities to learn advanced Fin-Tech accounting tools as part of a growing team.

Qualifications

What You Will Be Doing

• Utilizing cutting-edge accounting and financial management systems, you will maintain accurate and up-to‑date financial records
• Provide technical accounting assistance in processing financial transactions, bank/loan/GL account reconciliations, and various government remittances
• Collaborating with TCO’s skilled team of CPAs, you will be involved in preparing financial statements and relevant reports for our clients and other stakeholders
• Embrace feedback and mentoring from colleagues, continuously developing and improving your skills and abilities
• Participate in team activities and offer support to colleagues, helping to build a strong and cohesive work environment

What You Will Bring

• Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field (diploma or bachelor’s degree), or active progress toward a CPA designation
• Competent in handling accounting tasks, preparing and interpreting financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and payroll preparation, with or without prior experience
• Effective multitasker, adept at prioritizing tasks for efficient completion
