Job summary

Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced accounting technician to join the finance team. The role focuses on maintaining divisional accounting records and supporting timely financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include managing AR/AP workflows, month-end reconciliations, and adherence to GAAP. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage 300, with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of full cycle accounting and timely financial reporting.
• 2-5 years experience or post-secondary education in accounting or business preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Sage 300 is preferred.
• Experience in the waste industry and TRUX software is asset.
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity and timeliness of accounting records for multiple business units.
• Assist with review of daily AR and AP submissions.
• Back-up coverage for AR and AP as required.
• Support month-end reconciliations and related documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and GAAP.
• Identify process improvements within accounting and reporting.
