Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking Junior Accountants to join the Assurance team in the Greater Vancouver area (Vancouver and Langley), starting in January 2027. You will apply technical knowledge from coursework to prepare working papers and financial statements in line with regulatory standards.

You'll build client relationships, support business development, and communicate progress with your team. BDO supports CPA designation with pre-approved programs and flexible study leave.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or diploma completed with CPA prerequisites.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and initiative to seek understanding.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work projects and assignments using course knowledge.
• Prepare and complete working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
• Gather evidence for Assurance engagements.
• Build positive client relationships and respond to requests.
• Participate in business development and identify opportunities with clients.
• Communicate progress and issues with the team on an ongoing basis.
