Position Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with daily accounting tasks including AP/AR, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
2. Support month-end and year-end close processes
3. Maintain accurate financial records and reports
4. Monitor and reconcile company transactions and accounts
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
6. Assist with expense tracking and employee reimbursements
7. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. 2 years of relevant accounting experience
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
4. Experience with a cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks Online is an asset)
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
7. Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Nice to Have:
