Junior Accountant

Fuze Logistics Services is a next generation 3PL headquartered in Montreal, with offices across North America, leveraging cutting‑edge technologies and decades of industry expertise to facilitate the transport of freight globally.

After experiencing tremendous growth over the last 5 years, we are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting month‑end close procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform key accounting and data entry tasks alongside the finance team.
Prepare and maintain accounting records and documentation.
Post daily bank deposits; perform bank, credit card, and GL reconciliations.
Enter and validate key financial data; ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close (accruals, reconciliations, variance reviews).
Generate and/or analyze key reports using Excel and other software.
Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies; maintain proper documentation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to complete assigned tasks and improve processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance (or similar).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (ex: ASPE).
Competency in MS Office and Accounting Software (ex: QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to perform core accounting and record‑keeping tasks.
Enjoys collaborating in a team environment.
Well organized, ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
