Job Summary

As a Junior Accountant, you will handle various accounting functions related to processing and maintaining financial records, including journal entries, financial statements, account analysis, and balancing.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and the accounting cycle.
• Prepare monthly reports such as bank reconciliations, payroll deductions, and tax filings (GST/QST/PST).
• Analyze monthly financial results and participate in budgeting.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Validate, process, and execute payments via checks or transfers.
• Match supporting documents and invoices.
• Perform other related responsibilities as reasonably expected.

Skills Required

• Relevant diploma (DEP, DEC, or technical diploma in accounting).
• Knowledge of accounting systems like QuickBooks is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
