Accountant

Location : Montreal, On-Site, Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions in Netsuite (receipts, invoices/payments, bank and credit card transactions, etc.)
• Support and assist in month-end processing and closing procedures necessary for the preparation of financial information
• Record revenue based on information received from various departments and maintain records of invoices and supporting documents
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations periodically for multiple accounts
• Maintain supporting documentation and proper filing system for all financial transactions
• Participate in audits by providing supporting documentation when needed
• Reconcile accounts at period end to identify errors or duplications in records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
