Wage Range: $43,364 to $54,205/year

This role is based in Langley but primarily serves Cascades Casino Penticton.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, credit card transactions, and deposits
• Process prepaid amortization and record fixed assets
• Prepare and reconcile internal and external accounts
• Record payroll for corporate and operational sites
• Prepare cost reports or statements for current projects
• Manage accounting documentation across divisions
• Support accounts payable processing
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

• One-year experience in a Junior Accountant role
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, tax, and legislation
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Great Plains
• Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, data software, email, and web browsing
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Data collection and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
