Job description

The Junior Graphic Artist supports the creation of compelling, on-brand visual content that helps bring merchandise and marketing to life. Reporting to the Manager, Brand Creative + Graphics, this role is responsible for producing production-ready artwork, mockups, and design assets that align with customer brand guidelines and internal standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Merchandising, and Business Development—the Junior Graphic Artist plays a key role in supporting customer projects, creative campaigns, and new business opportunities. With strong attention to detail, a passion for design, and a collaborative mindset, this role contributes to building meaningful brand moments through creative execution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in creating custom artwork, product mock-ups, and marketing assets that follow customer brand guidelines.
  • Support sales, marketing, and merchandising teams by delivering visuals + tools for product collections, presentations, and other customer materials.
  • Help ensure artwork and files are organized, accurate, and ready for production.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials for SPP, including event banners, internal graphics, and campaign visuals.
  • Maintain brand consistency by following established design guidelines and standards.
  • Support the marketing team with design tasks for national meetings, events, and internal initiatives.
  • Prepare and format files for print and digital use, ensuring proper specifications and quality.
  • Retouch, resize, and optimize images for a variety of applications.
  • Assist in managing the design asset library, sourcing logos, product images, and vendor files.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorms and bring fresh, trend-aware ideas to the team.
  • Video editing as needed.
  • Photography as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

What’s needed – Basic Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of design experience, ideally in a fast-paced or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • A strong understanding of design principles like layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with corporate branding.
  • Ability to manipulate images for size, resolution in various formats.

What’s needed – Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of design experience, ideally in a fast-paced or agency environment.
  • Experience in a B2B environment.
  • Video editing skills.
  • Copy writing.
