Job summary
Uptime Industrial in Surrey is seeking a Journeyperson Welder to support industrial projects across the Lower Mainland, including repairs, modifications, maintenance, and installations. You will travel to customer sites and read drawings, ensuring welds meet project specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate holds Red Seal Welder certification, owns personal tools, has a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and has stainless TIG welding experience with fabrication/millwright
Qualifications
- Red Seal Welder certification is required.
- Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear.
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Stainless steel TIG welding experience is an asset.
- Fabrication and millwright experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Weld, cut, and perform related metalwork on mechanical equipment and components.
- Travel to customer sites to complete welding repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
- Ensure welds and completed work meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with millwrights, fabricators, and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
