Inland Truck & Equipment in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Truck & Transport Technician for our on-site service team. You will repair and maintain diesel engines on heavy‑duty trucks per dealership and factory specs, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.

The ideal candidate is a Licensed Truck & Transport Technician with CVIP certification, a Class 3 or Class 1 license, and strong communication and organizational skills. Join a team focused on safety, training, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Licensed Truck & Transport Technician required.
• Minimum five years related experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate class and endorsements.
• CVIP certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move around shop floor and yard.

Responsabilités

• Perform repair work outlined on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency per dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose and repair truck performance issues and malfunctions.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Tag and save parts under warranty or at customer request.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and advise accordingly.
• Document all work performed and recommendations on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs and events.
• Comply with applicable regulations (hazardous waste, health & safety, etc.).
