Coastal Ford Burnaby is seeking a motivated and skilled Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join our busy Burnaby, BC shop. The role offers an earning potential upwards of CAD 150,000 annually and focuses on diagnostic quality and efficient repairs.

As a Flat Rate Technician, you will perform diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance on a range of vehicle makes, using modern equipment and collaborating with Service Advisors to keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, etc.).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and repair procedures to ensure accurate repairs.
• Complete job tasks in a timely manner while adhering to shop standards.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers when necessary.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ensure all repairs are completed with high attention to detail and safety standards.

As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step.
