Job summary

Strike Group is seeking Journeyperson Service Electricians based in Cranbrook, BC, to install, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security, lighting, and power.

You will work on local projects and Western Canada site projects, with travel as required and flexible shifts to meet demand. A valid Journeyperson or Red Seal is required, and a clean driver's abstract is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Install, replace, or repair wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre/coax cables, lighting.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain and test switchgear, transformers, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep records.
• May install instrumentation and related devices.
