Job summary

FLINT Corp. is hiring a Journeyperson Pipefitter for a long-term role in Whitecourt, AB, starting October 2026. The position offers a flexible schedule with an LOA of $150/day and benefits after 300 hours worked.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of maintenance or Oil & Gas experience, a valid Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate, and mandatory safety tickets. English proficiency and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in maintenance or Oil & Gas projects.
• Valid Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
• Meeting mandatory safety ticket requirements: H2S Alive; Confined Space Entry; Fall Protection; Standard First Aid; Aerial Work Platform.
• Physically capable of demanding job tasks in varying conditions.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal communication.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license with clean 5-year driving abstract and under 6 demerits.

Responsibilities

• Install pipes, fittings and valves with precision across industrial systems.
• Contribute to maintenance and Oil & Gas projects as part of a skilled crew.
• Operate safely and comply with all FLINT policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure across Canada.
