Job summary

Teck’s Trail Operations in Trail, BC is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright to join our team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of mechanical equipment in a demanding shift environment.

As a safety-leadership position, you will work independently or in small teams, supporting preventative maintenance and continuously improving equipment reliability at one of the world’s largest zinc and lead smelting complexes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright ticket.
• Candidates with significant pre-existing apprentice qualifications may be considered.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of mechanical equipment in a shift environment
• Good understanding around preventative maintenance and willing to work independently or in small teams
