Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Edmonton is seeking a Journeyman Millwright for the Oil & Gas sector. This full‑time role focuses on pumps and motors, with day shift 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and OT available.

You will repair and align equipment, travel to sites, and support installation and commissioning. A valid passport for USA travel and own hand tools are required; Red Seal not necessary. Benefits + RRSP, paid vacation days, and a 40‑hour work week are offered.

Qualifications

• Pumps & Motors experience required.
• Journeyman status required; Red Seal not necessary.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Passport required for travel to the USA for training.
• Own hand tools needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace mechanical components and machinery.
• Align pumps and motors.
• Rigging and slinging.
• Troubleshoot mechanical machinery.
• Travel to customer sites to assess issues and support installation/commissioning.
• Test and inspect equipment; provide inside sales and administrative support.

Fantastic full time opportunity in Edmonton! Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Journeyman Millwright in the Oil & Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. Currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician (Millwright) - Pumps & Motors for the Edmonton branch. What's in it for you: $41.00 - $45.00 hourly, Mon- Fri - 8 hrs. a day / 40hrs per week (possible OT), Hourly paid OT when available Benefits + RRSP Paid vacation days Shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Repairs or replacements of mechanical components & machinery
• Alignment of pumps and motors
• Rigging and slinging
• Troubleshooting mechanical machinery
• Travel to customer sites to assess issues and support installation/commissioning
• Testing and inspection of equipment, as well as providing inside sales, administrative support, and back-up to customer service.

Must have:

• Pumps & Motors experience (key requirement for this position)
• Must be a Journeyman (Red Seal not necessary)
• 5 + years experience
• Ability to work in an environment where chemicals and solvents are used
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license for operating a company vehicle. Driver's abstract may be required during the selection process.
• Valid passport for travel to the USA for training.
• Ownership of hand tools.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed for repairs that extend beyond regular business hours.
