Job summary

PCL Energy Inc. in Squamish, BC is seeking Journeyperson Ironworkers to support compressor station work. The role requires a valid Ironworker ticket, ability to read blueprints, and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather.

Overtime may be required; travel allowances exist for qualified candidates. Base wage is $49.95 per hour with 10.4% vacation/stat, 4% RSP + 2% pension. Schedule is 9 days on, 5 days off.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Journeyperson trade ticket or provide hours worked.
  • Experience with compressor station expansion, live plant, and tie-in.
  • Rigging experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Work Conditions & Remuneration
  • Journeyperson base wage: $49.95/hr
  • 10.4% vacation/stat
  • 4% RSP contribution + 2% pension
  • Schedule: 9 days on, 5 days off
  • LOA: $150/calendar day
  • Daily and rotational travel allowances available for those who qualify
  • Must successfully pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Overtime may be required
  • Safety training provided
