Position SummaryJourneyperson Instrumentation Technicians are essential members of the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Team, supporting local and site projects across Western Canada.

Core Accountabilities- Work with pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
- Test the accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other instruments.
- Calibrate, repair, maintain, and adjust system components; install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
- Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports reflecting changes or alterations in instruments, circuits, and systems.
- Assist in estimating as required.
QualificationsEducation- Valid Journeyperson certificate issued by the appropriate provincial or federal authority.
- Willingness to be indentured as an Apprentice Electrician.
- Successfully completed the Swagelok Installation training course.
Experience- Experience with tubing and knowledge of related standards.
- Strong commissioning skills; experience is an asset.
- Extensive experience in construction, repair, and alteration of instrument tubing per ABSA standards.
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities- Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
- Willingness to travel to work sites.
- Valid Driver's License.
