Job description

Edgewater Industrial Services is a rapidly growing, progressive company employing Electricians and Pipefitters. We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for regular scheduled maintenance work in Sault Ste. Marie in Northwestern Ontario.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
2. Apply knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
3. Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
4. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
5. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

1. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
2. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
3. Understanding of electrical principles and concepts
4. Familiarity with low voltage systems
5. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
6. Strong problem-solving skills
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship

Requirements:

• Journeyman trade certificate or Electrical Apprentice

Details:

• Minimum of 2 years duration
• Overtime (time and a half) after 40 hours and 8 hours per day
• Live out allowance provided (in lieu of travel, meals and accommodation)
