Job summary

DASCO Electric Ltd. is seeking an on-site electrical installer with certification to work on residential, commercial and service projects in British Columbia. You will install controls, panels, underground wiring, and power conditioning systems while reading blueprints and ensuring safety at heights.

The role involves supervising apprentices, performing diagnostics, and maintaining quality across installation and renovation projects in both new builds and existing structures.

Qualifications

• Electrician certification or equivalent required.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in electrical work.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence may be required.
• Read and interpret drawings, maps and blueprints for installations.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical controls and panel boxes.
• Install underground wiring and cables.
• Splice, join and connect wires.
• Test and measure voltage, loads and fault conditions.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults.
• Instruct apprentices and support on-site training.
