Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our Production team. The role supports our North American operations by building and fitting welded skid assemblies, following Engineer Drawings and safety policies.

The position reports to the Production Supervisor at Calgary but operates within our plant, with potential OT as needed. Qualified candidates will have FCAW/GMAW welding experience, plasma cutting ability, Grade 12 education or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience with FCAW and GMAW and plasma cutting.
• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must read drawings accurately.
• Must be willing to work OT on weekdays and weekends.
• Must be comfortable in loud environments with hearing protection.
• CSA approved steel-toed boots required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• CWB Certification (Training & Testing on-site).
• Overhead Crane Operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Fit up skids according to Engineer Drawings.
• Perform tasks safely in accordance with Health & Safety Policies and SWP's.
• Follow all Company Policies and Rules.
