Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated Journeyman Welder to join our fabrication team on the Afternoon shift. You will perform GTAW (TIG) welding on light gauge materials and support FCAW/GMAW operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read and interpret drawings, follow procedures to ensure weld quality, and participate in equipment maintenance and safety practices while developing your welding skills under Journeyman supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GTAW (TIG) welding experience; FCAW and GMAW exposure is an asset
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (with supervision as needed)
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work overtime (weekdays/weekends) as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience operating shears and press brakes is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
• Continuously develop welding skills under the guidance of Journeyman welders

In this role, you will support the fabrication team by performing GTAW (TIG) welding on light gauge materials, while continuing to develop your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
