Job summary

1Click Energy Solutions in Port Coquitlam is seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (RACM) to join our growing team.

Focused on installation, maintenance, and service of residential heat pump systems, you will be the face of the company in the field, delivering technical expertise and exceptional customer service to homeowners across the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification: Journeyman RACM (or 4th-year Apprentice with strong residential experience).
• Gas Fitter Class B license is highly preferred.
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Familiarity with Vancouver area residential architecture and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Perform high-quality installations of heat pump-based heating and cooling systems.
• Service & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, while keeping accurate service records.
• Maintenance: Conduct annual inspections and preventative maintenance for longevity and efficiency.
• Engagement: Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and managers, maintaining a positive attitude.

What You Bring

• Red Seal Certification: Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (or 4th-year Apprentice with strong residential experience).

• Gas Fitter License: Class B Gas Fitter ticket is highly preferred.

• Driver’s License: Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
