You’ll handle service calls, maintenance, and repairs within planned schedules, contributing to reliable, safe plumbing systems. The role requires Red Seal certification, Journeyman status, boiler and hot water experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Plumber certification and Journeyman status.
• Experience servicing boilers, hot water tanks and make up air units.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Tend to service calls.
• Maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, including cleaning and maintenance of plumbing equipment.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintain stock of commonly used parts and place replenishment orders.
• Propose changes to plans to improve operation and efficiency of sanitation facilities.
• Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
• Keep detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in tech, compliance and repair techniques.
• Train site staff on mechanical systems.
• Travel between multiple sites.
