Broadstreet Properties is hiring a Full Time Permanent Journeyman Plumber to support our multi-family residential communities in Winnipeg. You\'ll handle service calls, perform preventative maintenance, test and repair plumbing systems, and travel between sites on a regular basis.

A Red Seal and journeyman status are required, with opportunities for Level 3 and 4 plumbers. We offer a competitive hourly wage starting from 35.20 to 44.00 per hour, dependent on skill and experience, plus a

• Red Seal Plumber certification required.
• B Ticket required.
• Accepting applications for Level 3 and 4 plumbers.
• Experience as a Journeyman/Journeyperson Plumber.
• Experience servicing boilers, hot water tanks and make up air units.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work independently under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Tend to service calls.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems across multiple sites.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintain supplies and order replenishments as needed.
• Propose changes to plans to improve operation and efficiency.
• Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects.

Your contribution to the team includes:

• Tend to service calls
• Tend to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, including maintaining and cleaning of all plumbing equipment
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Maintain a supply of regularly used parts and filters in stock, ordering replenishment as necessary
• Propose changes or modifications to plans to enhance operation and efficiency of systems plans and specifications for sanitation facilities
• Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects
• Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques
• Train site staff on mechanical systems
• Ability to travel between multiple sites

What you need to be successful:

• Red Seal Plumber certification
• Required B Ticket
• Accepting application for Level 3 and 4 plumbers
• Experience as a Journeyman/Journeyperson Plumber
• Experience servicing boilers, hot water tanks and make up air units
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing
• Able to work well independently under pressure in a busy environment
• Experience with routine maintenance operations
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Proficient computer skills
• All work is in Winnipeg and surrounding areas
