Job summary

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to high school and a Journeyman Certificate in Plumbing is normally required.
• Gas Fitter Technician certification is required.
• At least 5 years of plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards and procedures.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools to perform trade tasks.
• Strong safety awareness and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install/repair water lines using hand tools (pex cutters, drills, screwdrivers).
• Crimping of water lines and installation/repair of fixtures and appliances after rough-in.
• Move materials and equipment, maintain site equipment, and ensure timely paperwork.
• Comply with Gas Code and Plumbing Code; pull gas permits as required.
• Communicate with Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner; ensure curb appeal and housekeeping.
