Weyerhaeuser's Kenora Timberstrand Plant in Kenora, Ontario is seeking a permanent full-time Industrial Electrician to support a highly automated manufacturing operation. Expect competitive pay, a $3,000 hiring bonus, relocation assistance, and strong training opportunities in a 24/7 environment.

The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting electrical and electromechanical systems across the plant, including PLCs, SCADA, and industrial networks.

Qualifications

• Provincial or Interprovincial Red Seal certification as Electrician.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that includes both days and nights.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Experience with SCADA, HMI, VFD, motor control, industrial networking, and automated manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical power distribution systems, motor control centres, VFD drives, and motor control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrated electromechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC controllers and related industrial networks.
• Work with industrial technologies including EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, GE iFIX HMIs, and CIP.
• Utilize SAP CMMS to manage work orders, preventative maintenance activities, and task plans.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete electrical work related to new construction, maintenance projects, and plant improvements.

Weyerhaeuser's Kenora Timberstrand Plant is seeking a permanent full-time Industrial Electrician to join our highly automated manufacturing operation in Kenora, Ontario. The plant manufactures TimberStrand engineered wood products in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is well suited to a certified electrician who enjoys technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, industrial automation, and working in a complex manufacturing environment. About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical and Instrument Supervisor, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, and supporting electrical and electromechanical systems throughout the plant.
