Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter for generator installs in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out role runs on a 3/1 rotation with 12-hour days, and accommodations are provided.

Employees earn $46.00/hour or DSP $55.00/hour, plus a $100/day per diem to cover food. Reqs include a Journeyman ticket and Fall Pro/AWP; start ASAP to mid-October through Christmas break.

Qualifications

• Journeyman pipefitter ticket is required.
• Fall Pro/AWP certification is required.
• First Aid is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Fit, install and tie in piping for generator installs, working from drawings and isometrics.
• Lay out, cut, fit and fasten pipe, valves, fittings and supports.
• Connect and align piping at the generator equipment to spec.
• Work alongside welders and the other trades on site to keep the install on schedule.
• Check your own work and support testing and inspection of finished piping.
• Complete client orientations, take part in safety meetings, and follow site safety procedures.
