Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. in Pond Inlet is hiring local labourers for a diesel generator replacement at the community power plant, on behalf of an Edmonton-based contractor for Qulliq Energy Corporation.

Starting as soon as possible, this full-time contract role keeps you close to home with local shifts. No previous industrial experience is required; site orientations are provided and on-the-job training will prepare you.

Qualifications

• First aid and WHMIS knowledge are preferred.
• Fall protection certification is a plus.
• Aerial work platform experience is advantageous.
• Loader or telehandler experience helps.
• Any previous construction, camp or trades helper experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• General site labour: material handling, cleaning, painting, grinding.
• Help pipefitters and electricians with piping, cable and cable tray.
• Keep the work area clean and safe daily.
• Follow site safety plan and orientations provided.
