Job summary

The ideal candidate has a journeyperson apprenticeship asset, Grade 12 education, and strong Excel/Word skills. You will work a safety-sensitive role, follow procedures, and collaborate with vendors to keep pricing and catalogs current.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of related and progressive work experience in a warehouse/parts room environment.
• Completion of the Journeyperson Parts Technician Apprenticeship is an asset.
• Grade 12 education minimum; relevant post-secondary education an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional counter service to all internal and external customers
• Effectively communicate with Maintenance Management regarding a continuous supply and maintenance of required parts
• Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives
• Organize and maintain the inventory areas
• Shipping and receiving
• Maintain vendor catalogue and pricing library
• Maintain purchase and issuing records
